남부뉴저지통합한국학교, 졸업생 진학 대학 연계 문화교류 활발
– TCNJ 한인학생회 추석페스티벌 초청공연
남부뉴저지통합한국학교(교장 김정숙)는 지난 9월 29일 졸업생들이 진학한 인근 TCNJ 대학교 한인학생회 초청으로 추석 페스티벌에서 문화공연을 펼쳤다. 한국창작무용 작약지증, 태평무, 모듬북을 공연한 이 학교 예술단원들은 올 해로 TCNJ 초청이 3년 째다.
본교 졸업생 박주원 군과 박희원 양이 TCNJ 대학에 진학하여 한인학생회 회장과 홍보부장으로 활동을 하게 되면서 모교 예술단을 초청, 대학생들에게 한국전통예술을 선보이고 있다. 이러한 행사는 학생들에게 미래의 대학 경험을 미리 체험해보는 기회를 제공하고, 대학생들은 일상에서 접하기 힘든 한국의 전통예술을 직접 감상할 수 있어, 한국학교와 인근 대학 간의 연계문화교류 프로그램으로서 성공적으로 발전하고 있다.
– Invited performance at TCNJ Korean Student Association Chuseok Festival
On September 29th, KSSNJ (Principal Chung Kim) presented a cultural performance at the Chuseok Festival, hosted by TCNJ Korean Student Association, featuring graduates who have enrolled in TCNJ. The KSSNJ K-Arts Company showcased Korean creative dance Peony Dance, Taepyeongmu (a traditional Korean dance), and Modeum-buk, traditional Korean percussion ensemble. This marks the third consecutive year that TCNJ has invited KSSNJ K-Arts Company. Graduates Juwon Park and Joy Park, now active as President and Publicist of the TCNJ Korean Student Association after enrolling in TCNJ, have extended the invitation to their alma mater, introducing traditional Korean performing arts to college students. This event provides students with an opportunity to experience their future university life in advance, and college students get to appreciate traditional Korean arts firsthand, which is not commonly accessible in their daily lives. This successful collaboration program between the Korean school and nearby universities has been developing as a fruitful cultural exchange initiative.
